Just a little something about our experience with Saudi Arabian Airlines. To Negombo we flew from Milano via Jeddah which is in Saudi Arabia. We didn’t have any experience with this airline beforehand and it was actually very nice. Jeddah airport is small and full of men with square beards and tiny hats accompanied by fully covered women. Bigger planes have their own tv and smaller ones haven’t. The usual 🙂 Food is good and the meals are pretty big, although the staff is not very friendly. We recommend!…

And hello ticket to India! As we already know we have to leave Sri Lanka in one month, we decided to book a ticket to India. Sri Lanka and India are connected with some kind of a natural bridge, Adam’s Bridge and from the picture you can see that the countries are very close. Water is 1 m to 10 m deep and it seems like you could almost walk across 🙂 Or at least give it a boat ride. Mic found out there used to be a ferry…

We did it! For 307 eur we got ourselves one way ticket  Milano-Jeddah-Colombo and it was lovely Vanja from STA who made it possible. And 45 eur for the bus to Milan. Pretty reasonable if you ask me. Airline company is called Saudi Airlines. None of us knows it but this will be the first new thing on the trip. Hello Jeddah! All I know for now that Jeddah is a coast city in the Red Sea and is close to famous Mecca. Assalam alaykum!
