Sri Lanka was a very comfortable country to start with. Friendly people, easy transport, good food. Nicest place for me was Hikkaduwa, very easygoing and the apartment was the best. Tomorrow at 3 am we’re flying to Chennai and there we’re starting our India journey. I wonder how different it will be. Probably a lot. Hello from Sri Lanka! We’re still kinda jetlagged, waking at around 11am local time. Weeeeell, we’ll need couple more days. We spent 4 days in Negombo and we did quite a few things here. Food is great. Negombo is a sea town and that’s why seafood is fresh and cheap. this information is more handy for those travelling to Sri Lanka in near future. We ate at Sea Day where the prices are somewhat mid range (prawns 4eur).
