Capital city of Bohol is Tagbilaran, to where you’ll probably arrive from Cebu, Negros or other islands. You can even get here from Manila! The city is nothing special by itself as beautiful but touristic Alona beach is only a short ride away. Planning the ride around Bohol, we got the feeling that accommodation will be expensive. But it has been one of the cheapest in Philippines.
